With a turn of the ignition, the turbo whistles. As the driver plays with the throttle to hear that oh so beautiful sound he hasnt heard for a year.
Haha, naw Tim's the writer, not me. Anyway, so Guillermo and myself finished the EM2 and it is road worthy again! But the clearance is the Devil's spawn itself (Honda, thanks for making tiny engine bays that give the EM2 almost close to no potential when routing I/C piping). We started to work at around 9ish and finished at 6 (Just in time for dinner). But let me tell you, when we took it for a drive as soon as we finished it, I didn't think a single cam Honda can pull like G-mos EM2 did. Coming out of Timber Trails I'm expecting a slow creep to the next entrance, then next thing you know torques steer overcomes the steering wheel and faster than anything G-mo slams the shifter into second breaking the front tires loose and wheel hopping like a little bitch (definitely needs mounts). That car went from not to sixty in probably around 7-8 seconds maybe even faster. Not bad for a single cam D-series with a pieced together turbo kit huh? The next best thing is, the EM2 is also autox worthy now! Especially since he can make full right turns, and the axle isn't rubbing on a charge pipe. Still need to fix that trans leak that douchebag from Fusion S Performance never fixed and zip tie the loose lines and splash guards.
Well, this weekend was a successful one for SoSick Motorsports, i will bring the sticker design to the vinyl place tomorrow and get a quote. Until then, see you at the finish line..
